Friday- A nice Warm Spring day in Arnprior

Weir River Path...Friday, April 17, 2009

+17˚C/+63˚F in the afternoon.

Let me think- We had an unusual day.

The boy had a doctor’s appointment early and then went to school.

I got paid by my second (in fact of time, first) job and had to cash cheque (in Canada we have cheques, in the U.S. they’re checks) in order to get boy and Mom out of drug store with prescription.

Cathi and I had brunch in an unusual (for us) spot after she got the boy to the school.

When we got home we found two notices that ups had tried to deliver something we’ve been looking for. the first notice said they might try today between 10 and 2 andbetween 2 and 5 pm.

So Cathi got the boy from School. Then took boy to Dad’s and traded him for young woman while I sat here and vegged out in the hopes that UPS might actually make another attempt to deliver. Nope.

But when Cathi and young woman got here we needed a Dairy Queen run and sat almost where the above photo was shot from and watched the gonfiabile percorso ad ostacoli river and the weir and the world do their magic while we chomped on ice cream and stuff like that there.

Yummmmm-

I still think the ‘financial crisis’ is a propaganda campaign, and I still believe the (conservative) Canadian *Government is trying to take advantage of public confusion to try to push through some very schnarr reforms that are on their very schnarr agendae and are not at all in the public interest. {{ (In Canada, “*Government” often refers to the current batch of (fairly recently elected) Members of Parliament, the Prime Minister and the appointed ‘Ministers’ (Senators are still ((as far as we know)) appointed for life up here.) as opposed to the form of government (fer example ‘representative democracy’/’republic’/whathaveyou-) ) }} But then again-

+14˚C/+58˚F in Arnprior (tomorrow’s s’posed to be warmer.)

Canadian Government Minister Tony Clement is demanding that Chrysler employees accept a cut in pay down to levels that non unionized auto workers working for Honda and Toyota get.

I’m getting more angry about this by the moment. Last week Union officials were complaining that government officials like Clement were breaking the law that established collective bargaining.

I want to go a few steps farther and demand that giochi gonfiabili somebody convince me that this ‘financial crisis’ isn’t something that was dreamed up and manipulated on us to give schnarr faced moroons like Clement fuel to demand things like this.

I mean these idiots still believe that they can keep pulling the wool over our eyes and get away with it.

Running them outta town on a rail might not be a strong enough statement that “We’re not gonna take it!”

Thursday, Long weekend coming-

Early Spring In Arnprior....b?Thursday, April 9, 2009. Irene Adzima’s Birthday.

0˚C/32˚F @ 8 am in Arnprior.

Exhausted- I’m stumbling around in a daze.

What I’m dealing with is- What Should I concentrate on right now? Should I go with setting up an internet radio station first or try to work on developing a role playing game that may or may not bring in an income that may start out as a trickle and gain momentum? Both tracks are aimed at aiding the Spiritual Evolution of the Human Race.

We took the boy to his father’s for the insuflaveis Holiday Weekend, got stuck in traffic and went to Rob’s surprise birthday party on the way home.

-RE: Plans for the future- Rob’s daughter in England and a Movie producer in Lost Angeles have both commented on the interview Rob and I recorded and which is available at : (and both comments were positive).

-RE: Canadian Politics. I’m hearing loads of people exclaiming, “What a [fupping] idiot-!” when the latest news about the prime minister’s comments on just about anything airs on the radio.

-RE: Communicating with friends… I sent a dvd and short letter to my friends in Vermont (finally). Now I only have a couple dozen more to catch up with…

I should probably quit while I’m ahead, or at least: while I’m still suffering with the delusion that I’m ahead.

Photo: There are a lot of black squirrels up here. This one is pretty near the beach that is part of Robert Simpson Park. (I do not believe that Robert is related to Bart…) 😉

Friday, Cathi’s Birthday, April 3, 2009 :)

Posted by Jim - April 4th, 2009

Tour Guide at the Friday, April 3, 2009. Cathi’s Birthday. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Monsoon Rains were forecast. It was rainy.

We had “lucked out”, Cathi heard about a free screening of the movie “Passchendaele” at the “Deifenbunker”. She called and got the last two tickets.

After the movie we took a quick tour. The man in the photo with his left hand raised was out tour guide.

The “Deifenbunker” was a cold war era bunker built to keep the Canadian Government alive and functioning in the event of a nuclear attack on Ottawa.

I forget exactly which room this is, but it was a nerve centre for communications and keeping track of what was happening where. You can see bouncy castle for sale one of the video cameras mounted on the cieling in the upper left of the photo.

The movie was quite good. It’s up for an award, called the “Genies” which I think were awarded tonight (it’s the 4th, I’m a day late & a couple dollars short… as usual)

But anyway. Happy Birthday Cathi! yayyyyyy!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wednesday???

Posted by Jim - April 1st, 2009

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009. (Happy New Year!) ((Marion & Val’s Birfday… & a couple other friends’ birthday too. Mike something…))

+1˚c/+34˚F & drizzling @ 8:01 am.

12 hours at one job, 3 at the other yesterday… (covered ameeting about staggered school bells) & I gotta do stuff at the studio today. Schnarr-

I couldn’t pay much attention to what they were saying, but the intent felt like… Shills for the schoolboard say, “We don’t give a flyin fupp what you think, we’re smarter than you- we’ve decided what is best for you and we’re going to inflatable water slide implement it- so what if it fupps you up and makes you pay another hundred bux a week for child care (their plan only works if you, the victim, have only one child) their plan will save them money- maybe… (until the bus company catches on and raises their rates because they’ve been short changed by this stupid plan of the school board’s?)

It looks like another snow job, another fait accomplis rammed down our throats by people whose main point in life is to convince themselves that they’re smarter than anybody they serve and they should explain that to us any chance they get. if we balk, well, we’re stupid and uneducated and we’ve been misled… Schnarrrrrr-

Oops, there went Monday-

Rain on the Weir, SundayMonday… ooops. Tuesday, March 31, 2009

+1˚C/+34˚F @ 4:07 am

Yup, monday got by us. As far as blogging goes.

I did a bunch of running around Arnprior, Checking for things I could use to try to organize the gunk I need into bookcases or something like that. I scored a couple pieces of cheap furniture that might be useful in the garage when we do something there.

Also- talked to a couple people about the showing of the movie about Walmart’s attitudes and casualties of those attitudes. I felt drained and collapsed, then did have enough energy to go to the showing, with the bouncy castle for sale camera and helped get B roll for Jeremy’s news story. Also, Jeremy wants me to send him heads ups as soon as I know about anything newsworthy in Arnprior.

Sigh.

I’m exhausted.

Monday…..The boy was wandering around at 2 am.

Arnprior's Mayor on the cover of the "City" section Monday, March 23, 2009.

-8˚C/+18˚F @ 3:11 AM

Sigh.

Continuing with Sunday: On a more pleasant note, I did finally get through to my friend in Vermont who had a birthday on March 5th. We did some heavy duty catching up. Her son is in Thailand and just got his visa extended to stay there a little longer. Her daughter is in New York City, working as a private secretary to a celebrity you’ve probably heard of, {but I’m not about to name drop here}. One fun thing about talking to my friend was learning that her mother listens to coast to coast a.m. and reports back about aliens and government conspiracies etc. My friend sounded  quite astonished about that.

And… the photo here is of Mayor Terry Gibeau {{“Jee-Boe”} of Arnprior, who has been interviewed by area media and been on radio, teevee and in the newspapers (This is the Ottawa Citizen again) recently, complaining about the high profile process of the Canadian Federal Government bragging about how many millions they are pumping into ‘Shovel Ready’ projects to stimulate the economy, But this government(*) is a whole lot better at bragging than actually coming through and ‘putting their money where their mouth is’. They found a inflatable water slide technicality to skip over Arnprior in their highly visible, “Look what we’re doing for you!” campaign. Then they reported back to the local town government that there still is a bunch of money in this programme and if we play nice, we might even get some… {{ (*) and when a Canadian says, “This government” they refer to the last prime minister elected and his or her cabinet and all the ‘ministers’ who would be called ‘Secretaries’ in the states. {{so instead of the Secretary of Labor, up here they would call that person the “Minister of Labour” and they are still mystified about what “Americans” do with all their “u”s, I tell them they use them all up shouting “USA-number One, USA Number One…” ad nauseum without stopping  to thing about what they  are number one in or at. ((Heaven help them if they find out…)) }}

So, there is nonsense afoot. There is always nonsense afoot in the world of politiks…. but I got to talk to my friend on the phone, and we saw other friends earlier, and the news filtering in through sources like “Coast to Coast AM” (‘google it’….) and more direct communication with the forces of light, who are here, have always been here, only needed us to yell “Help!” a couple times… (you should do that often… think about Archangels and Saints and all sorts of other good guys from ‘up there’ or ‘beyond’ or wherever they’re waiting, and think, “We could sure use your help…” yup.

Catchyalater….

Sunday slipped past us, sort of….

Ottawa Citizen Feb 20 2009Sunday, March 22, 2009. Cuzzin Debi’s birthday. (but also) : Cathi’s and my Anniversary (Has it really been 7 years? Should I worry that I’m not itching???)

Um, I think it got above freezing….

got up and zoomed to the studio at 10 am to see what was going wrong with today’s playback. DVD player was frozen, I had to shut it off and restart it, then everything went fine. Cathi was pissed when I was making noise that early this morning… when she could sleep in.

Oh wait a minute. “Pissed” means drunk in Canadian and UK English. She was not drunk.

Pissed means upset, angry in USAtian English, she was grumbling.

Okay- today’s photo. the front page of the Ottawa Citizen on Friday, February 20, 2009. Barak Obama with the Governor General of Canada. The Governor General is actually the head of state here. The Prime Minister (In Harper’s case) is just the chief egotistical manipulator who believes he’s in charge.

Tonight’s news on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Company) was talking about a derisive newsclip from Fox News that is now making its rounds on YouTube, in which, among other things, some asshole is saying (about Canadians fighting in Afghanistan) “They’re in the war? I didn’t know they’re in the war, I thought Canada was where everybody goes when they’re too chicken to fight.” or something similar- that’s the intent we got.

But anyway, cheer up fans of truth in reporting. B.S. like that is becoming more and more transparent all the time. We ARE evolving faster than the fear mongers and war mongers can keep up with us. This is their last gasp, kiddies, we might bouncy castle for sale as well laugh them off their high horses in the hopes they go home and drink themselves to death, or something along those lines.

No, I’m not mad. And I’m not sitting here smuggly looking forward to their demise. I am a bit frustrated thinking that these idiots think they can still maintain control over the hearts and minds that are slipping through their fingers a little more every  day.

Sigh, it will get uglier before it gets better.

Friday, I started this at 7:30 am…

Friday, March 13, 2009.Bed Room Shelf

-18˚C/0˚F @ 7:30 am.

I took the boy to school, then got distracted, put a shelf into the counter top computer table in the bedroom and did a couple other things and got the boy from school and collapsed into a coma and here we are.

Cathi picked up her new glasses and looks very cute…

…Um, Dreamed a couple bears got in the house and one was hugging me, I wondered if there was some intent to harm or just an over zealous wish to hug. ( I did have a photo of Jassper on the Porch this morning that looked very black bear like.)

Cathi's New Glasses& this is Cathi in her new glasses.

Last night on Coast to Coast AM. somebody was talking about the toxic properties of Aspertame. Apparently, when you eat something with equal in it, or drink any one of a dozen brands of diet soft drinks, some nasty chemical reactions happen, including formaldehyde. One person called in and said she’d had wicked headaches when she tried to quit aspertame that didn’t go away and after 12 days of cold turkey, she gave up and the guest said it takes 60 days to clear your body from toxins in aspertame and that the formaldehyde never goes away. Hyper-sensitivity to food hüpfburg mit rutsche additives may stick with you for a long long time, too. (also, if you’re trying to get away from aspertame, you have a major problem because, for instance, vanillan, an artificial flavoring, has aspertame, lots of yogurt has aspertame in it.)

Thursday – Cold cold Wind blew in.

Parking Lot Next Door-Thursday, March 12, 2009 (Larry’s Birthday)

-10˚C/+14˚F @ 5:49 am. windy (cold) (( television says the wind chill is -21˚C))

There’s a priest on the radio talking about the Anti-Christ. He says there will be a lot of miracles, then the Anti Christ takes credit for those miracles and calls all the world’s leaders together and has them all assassinated at once. Then the Masons try to take over the world. (Sorry- that’s where he lost me. It feels like somebody from the dark side is pretending to be an angel or archangel, feeding him a lot of visions that are plausible, maybe even True. but aufblasbarer wasserpark then the whole big picture has been saturated with b.s. and it shows in some of the wackier things the man is saying.)
