Yesterday’s Raccoon News In Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia?

Zen Corner through glass and plastic
“Zen Corner Through Glass And Plastic” – This photo was taken at about 9 am this morning through a porch window and its interior plastic shield – using a Samsung Galaxy II phone – not my usual Olympus Camera. —jim w—

— I guess you can tell you live in a ‘Civilized’ area when last night’s Television News included the following:

— Tonight a Woman in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia went to her Compost Bin and it Growled at Her —

— The culprit was a young and scruffy looking raccoon.

— I tried to find a photo of the scruffy young raccoon in the green plastic recycling bin via Twitter and became severely distracted by too much positive reinforcement going around – like:

Steve Jobs quoted.
I used to think Steve Jobs was a guy with a nasty temper who made fun of virgins and went to Apple Board Meetings barefoot and snarled at everybody. That’s the way he was portrayed in a teevee movie about the computer revolution – Just recently I discovered that he was a follower of Paramahansa Yogananda – a Yogi who gave away copies of “Autobiography of a Yogi” – Or did I just come here from a parallel world that’s not quite as positive as this place?
Michael Moore's ballot - he voted for Bernie Sanders.
Michael Moore voted for Bernie Sanders in a primary – Sounds good to me.

— There is way too much positive stuff in the ‘Tweet-Us-Sphere’ tonight. Most of it concerns women’s safety and equality – with a hashtag #InternationalWomensDay –

The Granddaughters of Witches who survived the burning times.
“We are the [Daughters and] Granddaughters of Witches You Couldn’t Burn”
Woman Protesting inequal wages.
PG Rated Message? 72% of equal wages for equal work might warrant a frustrated cuss word or two – & not everyone know how to say “Schnarr!”
Positive Quote
Nice, Positive Quote? — Unless you’ve been messed with to the point where you can’t stand anybody suggesting you should see the world their way, positive or not – But, hey, I got over that attitude years ago. 🙂

— And I left a lot of stuff out. There’s not enough room here to fill with all the good stuff on the internet tonight. Now that’s different –

Tuesday – “Mars” Day?

Pretty bit of glass with a swirl/pinwheel effect near the middle.
Looking at life through a swirling rainbow? We bought this hanging bit of colour from the Glass Blower / Teacher who gave us a weekend course in glass blowing –

— Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 — // — +3˚C / +38˚F with brilliant sunlight and clear cool fresh air in Atlantic Canada @ 10:30 am —

— The Sufis talk about people who look at life through veils – If you see yourself as a sinner, or look at life as a dark, sinister path through suffering toward an unpleasant end – You’re looking at life through a black veil – If you believe you’re a saint, and that God appointed you to be His (or Her) Judge and/or Representative on Earth –  You’re looking at life through a white veil. The trick is to remove all the veils and look at life as it really is, without straining it through your ego.

— E.G.O. – some other group came up with the ‘explanation’ that E.G.O. = Edging Got Out = looking at life as if you should be in charge and everyone around you should acknowledge the ‘fact’ that you know how everything should be and they bloody well ought to make sure you got everything your way.

— Ego?  The best definition of ‘ego’ that I ever received came from Yogis: – Ego is the Divine Spirit duped into believing it is totally dependent on this one body you are currently inhabiting there.

— Back to the Sufis – They would call delusion “Wrong Crystallization” – You’ve got all your time and energy invested in experiencing life based on illusion and delusion – Whatever Illusion and Delusion you are currently invested in. & They say that the only way to get over Wrong Crystallization is through suffering. { – disillusionment – }

— I didn’t start out today thinking I’d sit here and define stuff like this. I started out thinking about the current political insanity going on in this world. European Governments calling Refugees ‘Economic Immigrants’ so they can avoid believing they should open their borders and hearts and Act like Good Christians, the way Christ told them they should act. When you’re afraid the needy will need everything you believe should be yours, You’re not going to act like a good Christian, are you? Fear and anxiety are products of the ego. There are Divine Laws in effect that will create more abundance than you can possibly consume if you are willing to share anything you have with those who really need it.

— You might notice that I didn’t call Donald Trump the Anti-Christ – But somebody who tries to capitalize on fear and anxiety in order to gain or keep power would probably be aligned with an Anti-Christ. Trump might be a Lieutenant or even a General in the Anti-Christs’ latest campaign. But, of course, that statement would be pure opinion and you should never take my opinion on anything for any kind of ‘Gospel Truth’ to base your life upon, or bet your soul against. – Think for yourself, come up with your own opinions, and be ready to drop those opinions any time you realize they’re not quite good enough to hang on to – they may have gotten you here, but is “here” where you want to stay?

— No, I was thinking about world politics and US politics this morning and wondering how the bleep we can avoid the mistakes of the past and move forward and upward toward a life that’s really worth living – Something ‘New’ to most of us? Living beyond yesterday’s limitations? Not mired down by yesterday’s illusions, delusions and stuff like that? Haven’t we had enough b.s. running our lives in the past?

— Sigh, did I get up from the wrong side of bed this morning? or the correct side?

— On the bright side, Cathi noticed the committee breakfast going on outside our porch windows this morning as she got ready for work. We counted possibly 4 young deer (yearlings?) and at least two adults. & There are almost always other adults hanging back toward the trees, acting as lookouts –

— And at 9 am there was another young deer there, enjoying the oats we put out for them – Thinking that maybe if we do this, they won’t be chewing up anybody’s gardens or getting themselves on the wrong side of any local farmers. Maybe I’m a little too optimistic there. But I like the look of appreciation I get from a mother deer while she sees her fawns eating something healthy – We even see the deer kind of bowing to us in acknowledgement now and then – at least – that’s what it looks like they’re doing – saying, ‘Thank you-‘

— shrug – of course, I could be reading all kinds of things into everything I see and think about that really aren’t there. { & that’s the kind of thinking that Donald J Trump believes is weakness. – & I wonder what God thinks – }

— Enough philosophy for one morning?
