I used to think-

Posted by Jim - September 9th, 2009

I used to think that women were nicer than men.

I used to believe that women were nurturing and caring

and men were bullying and controlling.

Lately two of the nastiest, most parque acuatico hinchable controlling, manipulative people trying to push others around were women who were trying to climb the corporate ladder (In pitifully small companies.)

schnarr- maybe I done got all the schnarr out of me and I’ll be able to rest and mend…

Summer’s over?

Posted by Jim - September 9th, 2009

I can’t believe another summer’s gone by without me being able to go down to Vermont, New Hampshire, and Connecticut to at least attempt to catch up with people I care about.

I can’t believe how “Boxed In” I’m beginning to feel- like a conspiracy of would-be petty demagogues… who want to control every little aspect of everybody’s lives (everybody’s lives but their own) ((every thought, every feeling… every castillos inflables aspect of the lives of others???)) so anyway, I’ve been hearing that there actually is a group like this, (videocrats?) who are trying to manipulate public opinion, trying to convince us that their make-believe economy is falling apart, threatening the security and well being of all of us.

I don’t believe there is a real Economic crisis, unless a critical mass of people buy into their bullship.

The real crisis is the fact that somebody is trying to control our perception of reality.

Just when I thought-

Posted by Jim - September 3rd, 2009

-I thought I couldn’t get any more disillusioned…

Last night on a programme from Australia, rebroadcast on CBC channel 1 out of Ottawa, “Re-Vision” or “Rear Vision”?

They replayed a programme from, I think two years ago…

-This programme had pretty well researched evidence that the guy who had been convicted of the bombing of flight 103 over Lockerby, Scotland, probably had nothing to do with the plot. An eye witness had described someone as being over 6 feet tall and at least fifty years old. They convicted somebody who was neither.

-The reporter said there were ‘heavy hitters’ from three governments’ “intelligence” services sitting in the courtroom, and these people seemed carpa hinchable to be making eye-contact with witnesses and nodding or shaking their heads slightly, but enough to make their intent clear to those witnesses, coaching them on how to answer each question put to them during the trial.

-A parent of one of the Syracuse University students who’d been killed in this bombing said he now believes the conviction was part of a government conspiracy to kill any further investigations into what actually happened, because anyone who asked for deeper investigation would be told, “We know who did it, we have a conviction, the guilty party is in prison, case closed!”

-So Now I’m believing that any visible “Justice” system has nothing to do with Truth, Justice, Morality or Legal process that could be called “honest” or “Just”.

-I’m thinking that I believe that people are innocent until proven guilty, not in a court of law, but to me, personally, beyond any doubt. ANY doubt.

-I don’t know.

-But I do believe I no longer have any trust at all invested in any legal system.

In God I Trust.

Humans just don’t measure up.

So- It looks like Parallels Transporter is working

Posted by Jim - August 13th, 2009

-This is weird. I paid like a hundred and five Canadian dollars for Parallels desktop which allows you to run Windows on an Intel Mac. I had virtual PC before, but that doesn’t work on the mac. We tried to get Parallels to work with the operating system form Cathi’s laptop (she figured ‘Pro’ was more powerful than media center) We tried several times. it always gave us this error message, saying there wasn’t enough room on the destination disk, but we hadn’t told it there was a destination disk. It thought we should send and error message to microsoft. we told it what it could do with its error messages.

-I went to see my friend, (the one who told me about Parallels desktop to begin with, he uses it, he runs his business software on his iMac with it, so anyway-) & told him what was happening. I grumbled that I might have to shell out for a new gonfiabile percorso ad ostacoli windows disk and they weigh in at around one hundred and sixty Canadian bucks these days. He thought maybe something dumb happened when I installed the transporter agent on the computer to be transported into virtuality, and maybe I should uninstall and reinstall after having made danged sure the virus checking snarr was off. Yeah, that sounded like a possible plan.

-well, I haven’t gotten around to uninstalling and reinstalling (I mean, how much frustration can you volunteer yourself for in any one day…) And there I was, falling asleep at the keyboard when the computer we want to migrate ) the kids’ computer, the one with the media centre operating system, not the ‘pro’… made a funny noise, blacked out its screen and went to the sort of home page for my user profile over there? and there, sitting all by itself in the middle of the screen was an announcement, transporter agent was up and running, all by itself. there was another message down by their whatchamacallit line that said, “status changed”

-Woa- looked like angelic intervention to me (Michael the Archangel is supposed to specialize in making technological things work right. the last thing I said to him was, “Hey, I bet you get sick of people coming to you asking for help all the time.” I didn’t actually ask for anything, maybe he read my mind.

-or not-

but anyway migration is happening. looks like it might take all day, or even longer?

I think this began at like around 7:30 A.M. -It’s about 8:20 right now, there, 8:20, yup. and there’s maybe 5% of blue on the Progress line on the iMac…. Hmmmmmm-

I’ll let you know how long it takes, if I don’t pass out or something and totally miss the end time.

—Yawn, big happy smile-

Step Daughter growing up

Posted by Jim - August 12th, 2009

Erin signs while Cathi beams w/prideSaturday, 8 August, 2009

We drove to Pembroke to look at a room in a house with college students. The owner only got into being a landlord because he had so much trouble finding a place for his son to live while going to Algonquin College in Pembroke. I was impressed by the guy. He is either one of the world’s best con artists or he is very sincere.

My step daughter was also impressed (she’s been having a heckuva time trying to find a room up there, as soon as a room is posted at the college web site, it’s gone.) She did have a couple of qualms, but they seemed to be tenda gonfiabile answered well. And in the photo to the left, she is signing the contract with her mum happily beaming over her daughter growing up in the background.

Affirmation

Posted by Jim - August 12th, 2009

The numbers lady told us all on Coast to Coast AM, about her affirmation to attract and keep abundance happening. I added to it.

“I pay my bills with ease and always have carpa hinchable money to spare. I happily spend the money that God and the Universe have given me to make the lives of others easier and more pleasant.”

The guy who does the Dilbert cartoon says he wrote down his affirmations fifteen times a day.

I just wrote that one down (oh the first sentence is hers, the second is mine.) fifteen times. my arm hurts. I’ll have to do it sitting at a desk instead of at an awkward angle in the recliner.

Hot muggy day, I messed with the patio.

Posted by Jim - August 10th, 2009

Patio blocks near back porch-Monday, August 10, 2009.

-It was a hot and muggy day.

-The bulletin board at work was acting up.

-So of course I took one look at the patio blocks which were lying in disarray beside the back porch and thought -I need to sweat and see if I can’t give myself a heart attack-.

-I moved the blocks (they’re heavy, but not quite back breaking) and chopped at the dirt (hard clay) with a hoe and a steel rake, then put down crushed gravel and spread that out with the rake, then plopped the blocks back into place.

-I didn’t drop dead of a heart attack.

(we thought this was a good idea, since the puppy hüpfburg mit rutsche horse has decided that beside the porch there was a very good spot to start digging to China.)

Was Today Saturday?

Posted by Jim - July 26th, 2009

The Weir in twilightSaturday, July 25, 2009.

(The photo was taken between 8:30 and 9 pm.)

One strange thing that both Cathi and I have noticed lately…

Maybe it’s a symptom of the vibrational changes we’re going through, here on planet earth- or maybe it’s got something to do with the stress we’ve been under (whether planetary, ‘fate’, something in the collective consciousness, something intensely personal and intensely spiritual… or what-) but colours seem to be more vibrant, like the colour saturation in ‘reality’ has been tuned up a few notches. … Hmmm…

((It doesn’t come across that well in this photo here, but before I reduced the size of the photo to make it a bit more web-friendly, the colour saturation in the piece of wood (bottom left) appeared to be heightened. This is tenda gonfiabile how the photo downloaded from the SD Card that lives in that camera.))

This is the same photo (right) after clicking on “Adjust Levels” in Photo Shop. I think the heightened sense of colour saturation shows up here a lot more strongly. Same photo, adjusted for 'levels'

I better write a bunch of stuff here to raise the picture, keep it from leaking into the next message down…

(odd, the stuff I was writing wanted to push the photo farther down, I had to click on the photo and tell it I wanted the text here to begin to the right of the photo… which is not where I wanted it…)

Okay, so let’s see how this looks now…

yeah, not bad, thanks….

Catchya next time…

Coast to Coast Ayem (A.M.)

Posted by Jim - July 25th, 2009

July 24, 2009.

Coast to Coast AM (for the un-initiated) is a nightly radio program that deals with a lot of ‘fringe’ subjects and is just a likely to air interviews with someone claiming to be a witch as a hard core scientist sharing his or her fascination with quantum physics and string theory.

One of their ‘neatest’ programmes last week featured a linguist who wrote a heavy duty computer programme to monitor key words and detect subtle changes in language used on several (quite a few, quite a ‘large’ few) sites he has his ‘web bots’ monitor.

His findings have been uncanny. His premis is that we’re all ‘physic’ and many of us have no idea that we are. But anyway, he and his partner (His partner is more interested in financial forecasts and stuff like that) were on and talking aobut what they gonfiabili expect will happen in the near future (and it isn’t pretty) But anyway- one of their more humourous (at least I thought it was darkly funny) included quite a few people who consider themselves the “Illuminati”, believe they have a perfect right to run this world as if it was their private little fantasy kingdom, will begin to disappear; like, one second they’re here, the next they’re gone, gone completely, footprints in the sand or snow just stop. This will happen even when the disappearing ones are surrounded by their ‘peers’. This is supposed to scare the livin cement out of the rest of them. (about time, hey?)

I don’t know where to keep my pile of grains of sand, but I’ll be passing them out- and hey, is anybody taking odds?

And what do we do if we find out that this is really happening?

hmmmmm-
