Are Times So Bad?

Are times so bad that the only ‘real’ web site linked to spam comments that I’ve found in the first 100 ‘comments’ I went through and deleted was a web site linked to jewelry and expensive baubles bangles and handbags?

Does anybody make any money by unleashing spam robots to try to link b.s. sites?

Is everybody out there so dispossessed and angry that they have to try to hack, upload spyware, worms, viruses and nonsense like that to feel alive?

Is everybody’s life so miserable that they feel they have to lash out and try to make everybody else suffer the way they’re suffering?

Is there anything we can do about that?
